Other key parts of me are: 

• Christchurch-born and raised  
• Many siblings, lots of nephews and nieces, about sixty first cousins.
• Married to Lynda (also a teacher) - we have raised three fine young adults. 
• Teaching for thirty years - First principalship in 1991  
• Have taught in Porirua, Chatham Islands, Gisborne, Rotorua, Picton, Samoa, Christchurch.
• Have been principal in six schools across New Zealand and Samoa 
• Enjoy sport (mainly watching it nowadays!), biking, reading, gardening, family time.
